This sculptural fruit bowl was designed and made during a two-week collaborative project between twelve graduate industrial design students from Pratt Institute and artisans from Malinalco, Mexico. Each designer from was paired with a local artisan. I worked with Oscar Cabrera, a skilled woodcarver, jewelry maker and musician with a deep appreciation for Mexico's prehispanic history.
