The Official Art Squad Coloring & Activity Book
The art squad started out as a channel in the Illustrator discord in March 2020, as a place for members of the community to hang out, collaborate, troubleshoot, share work, give and receive feedback, and connect with other creatives. Overall, the mindset of the group echoes that of the Illustrator Discord as a whole. We think for many members it became a crucial part of our creative social circle through the pandemic in 2020 and into early 2021, and gave us the sense of working together even though we were all apart.
This time we worked on a coloring book.
A coloring book or a book with different short stories and illustrations. Creating a page that exemplifies where we live including our culture, people, environment, current events, or whatever! By this, we can learn and introduce each other's culture. So a "Trip Around the World" coloring book.
Various app used to make the drawing Artwork, but layout done in InDesign, front and back cover designed in Illustrator.
