Tabaski is the most important holiday in Senegal: Every family (who can afford it) is supposed to buy a lamb to sacrifice and people wear their best costumes and visit each other. Most of the people call it the party of the lamb (for almost a month the streets were full of them), and the lambs are the maybe the most important subject in this day: ads, articles, news, TV, blogs... you can find a lamb everywhere!
But for me is more important the people, this moment when all are wearing the clothes bought for the party and they visit happily each other, talking and sharing (the lamb). That, from my point of view, is the party and this is a small personal project for this day (took on a suburb of Dakar, in a house of a family).
Hope you enjoy it :-)
