In China, an increasing number of websites are unresponsive to servers for unknown reasons. And Chinese people are only given limited rights to get information and deliver free speech. We need to visit some websites and documents by “climbing over the firewall”. However it’s becoming more and more difficult now.

The design adopts a lot of contents that are prohibited to be seen by people in China. It is a set of “Zine” design. It is to convey that I am a little dissatisfied with the current state system, and I regard it as a citizen’s responsibility. The purple is the best stimulus colour of Chinese red and depressive blue. Taking this typesetting, it is meant to break the traditional Chinese “Zine” form and give the viewers a strong sense of visual impact.
