R.I.P. SOPHIE / Tribute
Some days ago I woke up to this sad news. Anyone who went to the parties where I DJed, knows how much I loved mixing SOPHIE in my sets. Her signature production was so iconic to me since the very first time I listened to BIPP back in 2015. She has been someone I’ve always looked up to as a main inspiration. The way she redefined the elements of electronic music and challenged the game, getting to collaborate with artists I admire such as Charli or RiRi is truly admirable, that I know for sure her sound and legacy is something the producers of future generations will study and take as a main reference. SOPHIE remains as a trendsetter, a game changer and a visionary. Rest in power, queen.
