The visual communication students had to come up with a theme and appropriate visuals for RCHE’s December 2012 graduation.

My group presented the theme ‘Unveil’ - revealing our works and talents while at the brink of taking our next steps. We chose the symbol of a flower blooming and revealing itself to higher perfection in order to depict ‘graduation’. We used a wide range of colours, covering the colour pallette, because it had not really been attempted previously.

These are the book covers, invites and CD cover and labels that we proposed for our theme, and were eventually selected for the December 2012 graduation.
The books: The blue is exclusively for the Fashion department while the pink is for all the other departments and their portfolios. When put together, the books form a complete flower, relating to the school and revealing our work.
Standard invites
The VIP invites. The card inside is 'revealed' through the actual action of unveiling the perforated paper, making the theme and its concept an interactive experience for the guests.
The CD cover and inside, along with the label. The CD contains the softbook copies of all the students' works. Again, we used a little piece for the word 'veil' which requires to be opened, emphasizing the theme and its concept.
