At the heart of the winter season in the Arctic circle, the sun does not set above the horizon for long cold weeks. However, the day-long sunrise and sunsets warm the immaculate white scenery with soft colors, while the intensity of the northern lights dancing in the sky makes for an enchanted scenery. 

This series of photos were taken in the midst of winter in Swedish Lapland, braving temperature close to -30C degrees - pushing the physical and technical limits of our bodies and equipment. An incredible journey within the Arctic Circle.
