GENTSTERS
Magazine for employees of the City of Ghent

The city of Ghent in Belgium employs about 10.000 people... Most of these people will never meet face to face, but how do you connect them with each other? Gentsters is a magazine, published 4 times a year and sent to all employees of the city of Ghent, whether it be administrative functions, education, social services, landscaping, etc... It features their stories, bundled in creative formats and interviews, with an emphasis on strong photography.

'Gentsters' is a play on words, where the name of the city 'Gent' is combined with 'Gensters', the dutch word for spark.

Each issue, a 'Gentster' is featured on the cover of the magazine on a colorful background. The city aims to show the diversity of its employees without taking itself too seriously.

An example of a creative format, in which the tools of an employee are laid out to tell a story, similar to Knolling
