Lunares Mineral Water comes from springs in Jaraba, a privileged place in the Iberian System located in Mesa Valley. It is a unique ecosystem, 763 meters above sea level and next to the natural enclave of the Monasterio de Piedra.

This water, classified as a medicinal mineral since 1972, is the result of a hydrological cycle in which Earth acts as a clever, natural laboratory. The orography of the land and its rocky stratification create an ideal scenario for a slow and captivating process that takes years to complete. The water acquires all its richness in minerals and trace elements while maintaining a constant temperature, pH, and composition. At the end of the process, it is bottled in its natural state, making each bottle a pure source of health.

Logotype and packaging redesign

The assignment required a redesign of the logo to enhance its readability and presence; a necessary evolution that would transcend the rest of the brand's identity and materials.

During the redesign process, we deconstructed the old logotype and abstracted the basic graphic forms related to lunar weightlessness, the spatial universe, fluidity, and balance. Black typography together with clean, simple forms faithfully reflect its content: a full-bodied water that stands out for its purity and balance.

All the illustrations on the back will be periodically updated, it comes from Lunares’ interest in encouraging Aragonian art. This edition is a collaboration with Erica Con C.

Calcium, magnesium, sodium…

The high mineral content of Lunares’ water meant we could use a graphic code focused on its composition. In order to reinforce the narrative of the visual metaphor of minerals in suspension, we highlighted the chemical composition on the back label giving greater weight and presence to information that is usually secondary. A journey from macro to micro, and from micro to macro.
