The Product
cTrader Copy merges the best principles of Copy Trading and PAMM (Percentage Allocation Money Management) in perfect harmony, a service where traders can follow trading strategies or provide their own, it includes risk management tools and detailed strategy profiles. Any trader can become a Strategy Provider, and broadcast their trading signals to followers for a performance, management and volume fee. Investors can, in turn, discover strategies, and copy them without any long-term commitment using equity to equity copying model. Problem the Project was Intended to Solve
cTrader Copy (successor or cMirror) existed as part of cTrader web platform (https://ct.spotware.com/copy) long enough, but has never existed on mobile before, thus making a significant gap in trader’s experience and their ability to manage their strategies and investments on-the-go.
My Role
As a UX and UI designer, my task was to translate an existing web service into a native mobile app that would exist as a part of cTrader Mobile — using iOS/Android patterns and cTrader mobile visual style that I developed earlier (cTrader Mobile – Android and iOS Native Apps).

Results
I developed the designs and prototypes for iOS and Android in collaboration with business analyst and product manager in mid 2018. However, the development was postponed and then resumed after 2 years. Meanwhile, the cTrader Copy Web saw several new features and some significant changes, therefore after 2 years I had to align my mobile designs with current web functionality.
The first fully functional version of cTrader Copy Mobile saw the world in January 2021 as part of merged cTrader Mobile 4.0 release on Android, together with User’s Blotter. iOS version is on its way.
