Case: Women´s Right
Made in 2018
Summary: Seminar developed to tell about the trajectory of women over the years and the reason why we still have to continue fighting for our rights.
Challenge: To structure the storytelling of the project, since several female fights were important, but not all of them made sense within the context we were dealing with.
Task: research on the topic.
Search:To build the work, we did a lot of research on women's rights and how we managed to get to where we are today. The research consists of the following themes:
- Laws:We explain about the Feminicide Laws, the "Maria da Penha Law" and "the Sexual Infuriation Law".
- Feminism:We present the difference between Feminism, Femism, Sexism and Chauvinism.
We also told the story of feminism and the 4 waves that occurred from 1944 in France to the present day. The strands of feminism were also explored and we tell a little about each one, they are: Liberal, Radical, Intersectional, Nego and Marxist Feminism. Finally, we highlight the importance of feminism so that women occupy more and more space in Politics, Media, Sports and wherever else they want.
The research was carried out through readings of articles, news and documentaries that we watched, such as: "Absorbing the Tabu".
