"Spring Show " introduces new images to a growing portfolio of altered photography. Continuing in my chosen role as a portrait artist, I've created portraits of flowers and insects that depict their physical resemblance and evoke the emotions of spring and summer. Images are photographed using natural light. They are then altered, to varying degrees, to heighten both contrast and color intensity.
The dramatic interplay of sunlight filtered through the translucent petals and leaves of the plants illuminates their innate beauty.
