Brassy V, a group that I played music with, was a brass quintet that frequently performed in Rhode Island, Massachusettes, and Connecticut, USA. We performed in clubs and halls, as well as in high schools and middle schools. Considering our wide range of audience, we needed a logo that was clean and iconic, one that demonstrated our polished sound before we even played our first note. The instrumentation for this group was French horn (myself), trombone (Keith Harriman), two trumpets (Ryan Meager and Kyle Bouchard) and a tuba (Paul Chadbourne II).
