The project focused on providing different views as a user moved past or interacted with the screen. It was influenced by the 'abacus' - a device used to teach addition and subtraction by moving individual peices back and forth. The project references this in the wood modules being able to be moved along the wire, but also in the screen segments being rearrangable.
 
We were also required to research various wood types that would be suitable for the design, a acetylated radiata pine product called "accoya" was choosen for its 'superwood' qualities, such as its outstanding durability which will provide longivity to the project
 
The design was modelled in rhino through grasshopper and then visualized through 3ds Max and photoshop.
