Intro to Interaction Design, the first class in CCA's new Interaction Design program, taught by IDEO designer Kristian Simsarian.
Keep in mind that these are all short exercises, ranging in time from a few hours to a few days. None of these pieces are finished.
BART Kiosk re-design (< 1 week)
Group project with Kaii Tu and Kao Yichin. Renderings by Kaii Tu. Visual design by myself.
User research found one big problem with public touch-screen kiosks: when utilizing them, users are reticent to touch the screen more times than necessary (it can be considered unsanitary). Thus, a focus was placed on minimizing the amount of touch-screen interaction needed to accomplish a task.
