Project - DOJO RENO -

This project is one dear to me. The brief was to design a logo for a martial arts school based in Reno - Nevada, run very passionately by Michelle and Taurin Clancy. 

The school is for anyone and everyone of all abilities, from children to adults. My idea was to create something that can be both "kick ass" but also fun and approachable for the younger kids. Creating a traditional Japanese style tiger (with a twist) seemed a perfect fit. Working in the typography with the fun element of the tongue it also allows the flexibility of adaptation in terms of typography, circumstance and can be visible and impactful in different scales.
