At the end of 2020, I had the pleasure of making the credits and the cover for the documentary PINK TOKYO for Rockyrama and Empreinte Digitale, directed by JAC & JOHAN with music composed by 2080.

With PINK TOKYO, we will dive into the heart of this society and its pictorial history, in order to understand how Japan has become the greatest purveyor of erotic imagery. Hentai, cinema, video games, virtual world, prints ... We will review all of Japanese pop culture in order to understand how Japan, which is nevertheless a prudish country, lives by embracing on a daily basis its multiple representations of eroticism and of sexuality. Artists, critics, filmmakers, animators, mangakas, idols and maids in costume will be our guides in this steamy and pop, culturally sexy and enriching film! The Documentary and cut into 5 chapters, Prints, Cinema, Hentai, Erotic Revolution and finally 2.0

TITLE CONCEPT
I started with the idea of conceiving the credits as if we were leafing through a Binibon (old Japanese adult magazine), using its codes of compositions, colorful images as well as all the big texts that dot most of the magazine's pages. . We follow throughout the credits the evolution of Japanese erotic art and these different forms from yesterday to today. The mosaics that appear on some images are above all an artistic choice because they are emblematic of the Nipone censorship. We used them to dress most of the text inserts in the documentary.
