Project:
While working in Lane County Public Health, I was asked to create graphics that would promote safe spring break activities to Lane County citizens.
My Process/Challenges:
I approached this project by gathering safety spring break recommendations from the CDC (Centers For Disease Control & Prevention). I wanted these flyers to eye catching and easy to read for users scrolling through their social media feeds, so I choose bright colors and a small amount of text. I also used 'Open Peeps' illustrations to enhance the design.
Outcomes:
After a year of the COVID-19 pandemic people are starting to grow exhausted from staying indoors for the majority of the week. We hope these activities can bring a breath of fresh air to the current state of the pandemic.
