SABAI SABAI
means «joy of joy» and that is the quintessence of Koh Pha Ngan, a small tropical island in the Gulf of Siam, Southern Thailand.
It mostly known as home of the Full Moon Party, monthly and extra-noizy party in the island.
But there is something behind parties.

Ridiculous buildings, fishermen, boats, coconut farms, Muay Thai gyms and Night Fights, amazing sunsets, paradise beaches and nice people — everything is in SABAI SABAI style. That’s why I spent there more than 3 months.

BUILDING IN WOK TUM
that can be scrutinized endlessly. You can’t imagine how many storms that construction survived.

THONG NAI PAN YAI
is one of the most beautiful and calm beaches in the island.
I spent a lot of evenings in a Nu Bar, the cozyest bar in whole Thailand.
It is run by Andi, amazing austrian, hospitable barman with an excellent sense of humour.

BOATS
in Koh Pha Ngan is a pretty big part of the Soul of the island. It doesn’t matter if it's a fishing boat or a taxi boat, is it on the water and goes to the sea every evening or just stays on the shore forever — you can’t imagine Pha Ngan without boats.

FIREBOYS FROM YAI BAR
You should see that little fire monsters if you ever have a chance.

NIGHT FISHING
is the main fishing type on the island. Fishermen spend the most part of the night in the sea being high on weed, sometimes they play with lights to attract fish and throw the net.

However, every day you can buy extra-fresh fish and seafood in a market or at a restauraunt, fishermen don’t work for future use because seafood and fish storage are much more expensive than daily fishing.

Have a good day.
Thanks for watching.
