Concept: The African background pattern is made out of Ones and Zeros (1s and 0s) to represent the binary code which is a mathematical concept developed out of African fractal designs (a mathematical algorithm based design). The design was intentionally created this way to bring awareness that Africans are the originators of what would later be called the binary code, which is the foundation for data development which later gave birth to the digital era that we know today. In other words, there would be not internet and digital innovations today without African fractal design. The pattern design reads African Centre for Statistics in the binary code language.
