City of Cincinnati, 50+ Cincy Celebration Logo (2018)
This is a logo I created for an event called “50+ Cincy Celebration” that takes place on Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati, celebrating citizens 50 years and older. The event features games, giveaways, and entertainment. The logo itself showcases the bright, vibrant colors of the City's brand, while communicating the idea of being active and healthy through dynamic graphics. This logo was printed and displayed in conjunction with the City of Cincinnati logo.
Greater Cincinnati Water Works, Employees of the Year Logo (2021)
Each year, Greater Cincinnati Water Works recognizes employees by hosting an “Employee of the Year” event. A new logo is created annually, and this is one of the logo concepts I created for 2021. While this logo has not yet been chosen for the event, I believe it is the strongest concept I designed. The “H”, “2”, and “O” are a lighter blue, consisting of a gradient to mimic the idea of water. The “O” is pulled from the word “heroes” to convey the notion of connectivity among water and heroes. I believe this logo gives off the sense of being a superhero without being too gimmicky!
Greater Cincinnati Water Works, Temporary Assistance Program Logo (2020)
This logo concept utilize hands to create other shapes both within the positive and negative spaces. The hands represent humanity or lending a “helping hand.” The two “pointer” fingers create a heart when they overlap. The white space (negative space) between the hands creates a water drop.
Ohio Section American Water Works Association, OAWWA Conference Logo (2020)
This logo concept was created for the 2020 OAWWA Conference. The “Clear Vision, Clean Water” tagline reflects the idea of 20/20 vision being perfect, while all the great water utilities of Ohio keep water clear and clean. The zeros in the year “2020” are water drops, and when they are overlapped, they create a vertical eye, again communicating this idea of a 20/20 vision.
City of Cincinnati, Healthy Lifestyles Logo (2018)
This logo concept focuses on the Cincinnati skyline. The skyline inside of a heart communicates the idea that the “Healthy Lifestyles” program encourages a flourishing and healthy city. Also, this graphic conveys the notion that Cincinnati’s citizens are the “heart” of the community. The reflection of the city in bright blue signifies the Ohio River, further connecting the heart and Cincinnati. The rugged edge at the bottom of the heart creates a nice contrast to the smooth, rounded edges at the top of the heart. Lastly, utilizing the City’s color scheme and font helps tie this logo in with other City of Cincinnati branding/initiatives.
Freelance, Cincy Brew Bus (2013)
This is a logo I created in 2013 for a company called the “Cincy Brew Bus”. This bus tours different breweries within the city of Cincinnati. The logo showcases a mug of beer that also serves as a bus driving down a road. The Cincinnati skyline is in the background to honor our great city and its rich history. The logo itself is quite simple; the fonts and colors used give this logo a very contemporary feel, linking the modern idea of brewery tours with an historic adventure.
