Modular Typeface Poster
In this project, I used a modular typeface that I designed to create a poster with a quote and subhead. I wanted to experiment with the typographic forms of the letters to create something beautiful and iconographic. I had several scamps for my poster, where I experimented with the letterforms and layouts.

Modular Typeface
Process Work (Typeface)
I was tasked to create a modular typeface, before creating my poster. It had to follow an underlying grid structure and define the parameters of the typeface, including the cap height, x height, baseline, width and descenders. After a few sketches and experimentations with different fonts, I decided to create an uppercase-only font using semi-circles and rectangles as my common cell forms.
Process Work (Posters)
I started with a different quote by Henry Moore before I changed it to the Bruce Lee quote. I experimented with lots of different layouts and ways to communicate the essence of the quote. I took the shapes in the letterforms and incorporated it into the layout, I played with created iconographic text, and I experimented with repetition of elements.
