For this project, I was tasked to create a self-standing desk lamp that looks like it could be sold by IKEA. The goal of the project was to design such a lamp that while it looks pleasant to the eye, it isn't distracting and also provides ambient lighting. Throughout the design process, I was able to create sketches using a multitude of mediums such as actual drawings, all the way to small models using Bristol board, as well as chipboard.
