DOVE
Mood Board
A unique and intelligent collection, that inculcates sustainable approaches of up-cycling, re-purposing and zero-waste cutting, surrounded by the natural phenomena of thermochromism, which contributes to an everlasting collection that is inspired by vintage fashion of the 1960’s.

‘Dove’ is inspired by the eye catching fashion of the 1960’s that deviated from the status quo through its baby doll dresses, mini-skirts, crop tops, long dresses adorned with strips and the ascendance of tweed.
The purple thermo chromic strips were made from a white cotton t-shirt (100% cotton), while the skirt and the top were made by deconstructing and redesigning a white cotton dress(90% cotton and 10% polyester) and a cotton tweed dress(90% cotton and 10% polyester).
The collection is also driven by the desire to make clothes that are versatile, insensitive to cyclical conditions and multifunctional.
Dove sees itself as being a pioneer in the sustainable fashion industry in the near future. It doesn’t just see itself as making sustainable garments, but also will try and influence the buying behavior of customers. Sustainability will be achieved throughout the supply chain as it is essential in order for people to consider it as a sustainable brand. It would also try to play its part in making a difference in the way people think about consumption and fast fashion.
