This is an original abstract piece I composed on Logic Pro X called 'PLEASE HELP US'. This is the first piece I have ever experimented putting a story in the underlayer of the music. While there is no direct inspiration for this piece I tried to recreate the tense atmosphere like they do in film which inspired me to make some of the decisions I made. 

I write all of my compositions in my head before transposing them onto the corresponding instruments and while it may seem unpractical it gives me an idea of how these ideas will sound and if they will. 

This is one of my most experimental pieces by far and if I had the opportunity to re-start this process I would definitely re-record some of the instruments (like the piano) as a live instrument and not a midi as I feel like the resonance is something a listener could hold on to with all the other melodies wrapping around it.
