"見樹，見林" is a design portfolio of Lin, Yen-Ting(Timmy Lin), from 2009 to 2013. The portfolio shows some of my projects during my bachelor and master career.
To describe the changing from the time I began to build my own perspective on design till know, I decided to quote one of the famous saying, "見樹不見林", as my heading. "樹" and "林" correspond to the meaning of tree and forest in English. Simply, the whole sentences are talking about our viewpoint. In the beginning, we only focused on the tree without discovering the forest behind it. After experiencing and challenging, we became cautious. We tried to integrate every little details into our mind and pulled ourselves away to overlook the whole appearance. In other words, we see not only the tree but the entire forest.
