"Dead End of Postmodernism" 1997 Spheric Art Installation at Andrews University, Found objects + Paintings + Video + Sound. This work was featured at the South Bend Tribune newspaper. It was a way of saying good bye to postmodernism with maximalism.
"Selfportrait" 1993-2002, Oil on canvas, 60X 55 cm. Do not get scared before reading. This was Arnol Diaz very very first oil painting made at art school,  started in 1993 as an assigment, he was never convinced that the painting worked well as fine art, so he kept making little changes once in a while, and on figure 1 is how it looked finished in 2001, the painting was always hang up in the studio. In figure 2 which is the same painting after it caught fire, he added moving images in the eyes and mouth as a way to rescue the artwork. After the fire burned parts of the painting it really worked, so he placed it back in the wall of his past studio at Andrews University. One day Greg Constantine, then director of the art school stop by and said this is a good painting is it a recent work? to which Arnol replied, no this painting has been at this wall for years, the day I took it to a show, it caught fire and now is back. An art collector bought the small painting for 10,000 USD in 2009.
