Walter Gretzky Memorial Graphics
As a result of Walter Gretzky's passing, the NHL Alumni Association and TEAM93 Marketing had requested for graphics to be made in preparation for the honoring of Walter's life. Below are a set of graphics that were used for social media by both companies, a collection of unused variations, as well as notable reposts, retweets, and features of the graphics.
TEAM93 Marketing
Through TEAM93, I had the opportunity to create a graphic for Walter that would be uploaded to his website's landing page. You can view it at WalterGretzky.ca. Another version was created for social media, and has been shared on the social platforms of Justin Bieber, TSN, and NHL Alumni Doug Gilmour.
NHL Alumni Association
The NHL Alumni Association had also requested a graphic to honor the life and legacy of Walter Gretzky. Analytics show that the post had a potential reach of over 8 million on Twitter, as a result of the retweets by prominent accounts such as the NHL, NHL on NBC Sports, The Hockey News, notable members in the hockey community and more. The post was also featured on TSN’s profile and in an article by Sportsnet that can be viewed here.
