YOSSEL RAKOVERS VENDUNG TSU GOT – Stagie visuals

"Yossel Rakover’s Vendug tsu Got" ("Yossel Rakover Speaks to God"), directed by Arie Zinger, premiers at the new multi-purpose hall of the Academy of the Jewish Museum in Berlin. The text written by Zvi Kolitz is a monologue of a fictional character, living during the last days of the Warsaw Ghetto, who wrangles with his God.

Michael Fragstein of Büro Achter April has created animated drawings for the performance which will be shown on screen as part of the stage design. The monologue "Yossel Rakovers Vendung tsu Gott", directed by Arie Zinger and performed by actor Tilo Werner in the original Yiddish, will be a German premier.
