For C'est La Vie, the not-so-secret ingredient is love. This means indulging you with lashings of comfort food – generously proportioned and lovingly plated on any occasion.

We love the idea of how cuisine should be made with a touch of love. “In the Meadow" is like a countryside walk and inspired from the breath of classic French cuisine. We want to bring back some good memories about someone’s hometown in the countryside of France. Many props were sourced from vintage stores for matching the rustic vibe such as classic cutleries, cups and even backgrounds. We also use chalks to write on the background as it creates nostalgic effect.

While layouts, backgrounds and props already tell the story of a home in French countryside, it is dark-mood lightning that really enhances the materials and scenes, as if you were standing there, in the kitchen, feeling sunlight shining through windows and beautiful dishes suddenly appear. 

It is a feast for all senses of rustic France.
