This is my first time shooting a music video. I used my phone and tripod to record the scenes I need then use premiere pro to edit the clips. When I first put the videos together and showed them to my friends, they suggested changing a few things. I took their suggestions, and I think it made my video better. As I got more depth in my editing, I found some cool transition effects that fit in with my video, making it more interesting. The artist in my music video is a childhood friend who goes by the name Cozzy Hologram. I don't remember why that is his rapper name, but it fits him. The song's title is "Energy," and it is about being different and standing out as a Black male even though society is against you and keeps a positive mindset. Recently the times have been tough for many people, and this song interprets that people should keep the same energy before and good things will happen. Tough times do not last; only tough people do.
