Therefore I am.
Inspired from the quote, 'I think, therefore I am.' by René Descartes and an ad by Barbara Kruger. I was inspired to create a set of social commentary, my own social commentary of contemporary mediums and issues with my own spin on the strap line 'I think, therefore I am.'
They are mostly puns to social media and how us as humans interact with them in the current day.

I wanted to draw from what Kruger done with her peace, “I shop, therefore I am”. At a time where there was an economic downturn and fused that with a modernist image in a modernist/post-modernist time.
I combined all of that and used it to help develop these set of images by using some old but mainly contemporary images and twisting it to make it my own.
All 12 images were cooked up during a 54min train journey on my way back to London from Colchester.
