Liberty Hill Foundation was looking for a good-looking email newsletter template that could help provide quarterly updates to some of their top donors. It needed to reinforce the brand, it needed to push the envelope a bit, and it needed to work on mobile – all while working in different browsers and email clients and, of course, remaining very easy to read.
The resulting design for Better Giving used bands of color which span beyond email content to help attract attention and differentiate content. Flattened buttons are bold enough to prompt action without distracting the reader from the content that inspires action. A pull quote and an "S-curve" design help vary content just enough to remain engaging.
This custom-built template for use in MailChimp had them covered! Using MailChimp’s powerful template language, the Liberty Hill team will be able to edit and reorder content to create a custom-looking email newsletter every time.
Following the success of this email newsletter template – open and click-through rates more than doubled – Liberty Hill continued with redesigns for all of its email newsletter templates. Each template was carefully crafted to maintain different aspects of the Liberty Hill brand, while still remaining distinctly “Liberty Hill.”
As a result, readership has continued to grow increasingly engaged and stay engaged.
