I wanted to create a fictional city on a hillside with somewhat of a surreal, illusionary aesthetic. I used soft curves, yet sharp angles and strong, bold line-work + combined with some different gradient combinations (I love color & texture play) to incorporate a retro feel. Inspired by a photo I saw of Santorini, Greece - I'd like to think of this as an alternate universe of that island maybe?
