Blend Magazine is a magazine that takes traditional material to a new level. Following the style of the fashion and art found inside, this redesign was created to mimic the cutting-edge feel found within its pages.
Blend Magazine bases its content on the classic material of fashion and art; however, it has developed an image that presents traditional with a progressive modern twist, focusing on typography.
Pushing classical ideas of material and design into a more experimental style of grid based form; this department redesign incorporated the magazine's modernizing tradition into the very layout through, composition, hierarchy and pacing.
