As meninas são umas princesas.
São frágeis, delicadas e obedientes.
Não se penduram nas árvores e não gostam de se sujar.
As meninas não gostam de brincar com carrinhos.
As meninas não gostam de bola.
As meninas só querem ter bebés e ser fadas-do-lar.
As meninas são invejosas e maldosas umas para as outras.
Gostam de tagarelar.
As meninas não são dotadas para certas ciências e tecnologias.
São emotivas.
As meninas são melhores a seguir do que a liderar.​​​​​​​

Girls are princesses. They are fragile, delicate and obedient. They don't hang from trees and they don't like to get dirty.
Girls don't like to play with cars. Girls don't like to play ball games. Girls just want to have babies and be house pride.
Girls are envious and mean to each other. They like to chatter.
Girls are not endowed with certain sciences and technologies. They are emotional.
Girls are followers not leaders.

Os meninos são uns guerreiros.
São fortes, duros e obstinados.
Não apanham flores nem param para as cheirar.
Os meninos não usam cor-de-rosa.
Os meninos não brincam com bebés.
Os meninos só querem correr e jogar.
Os meninos não choram.
Gostam de lutar.
Os meninos não foram feitos para bailar.​​​​​​​
São estoicos.
Os meninos são a escolha óbvia para liderar.


Boys are warriors. They are strong, hard and obstinate. They don't pick flowers or stop to smell them.
Boys don't wear pink. Boys don't play with babies.
Boys just want to run and play. Boys don't cry. They like to fight.
Boys weren't born to dance. They are stoic.
Boys are the obvious choice to lead.

since we're supposed to be confronted between what is written and what the photographic records show
