This amazing project allowed us to showcase a little more about ourselves. I chose to capture objects that had sentimental value to me via photography and combine them collage style with gorgeous typography and patterns.
I've had this screened onto a piece of cross stitch fabric and have been working on developing it even further over the colder winter months - I'll post updates as it progresses!
Sometimes my closet crafter can get carried away! Here's some of the upcycled wool blanket cushions I've made for friends & family when cross stitching got a little hard on the eyes!
It's nice to hand make something from scratch, it's a good challenge to have to go with the organic structure & imperfections as they happen.
