Illustrated and colorful short stories for children:
A fun approach on SDGs
Looking to promote the Sustainable Development Goals in Spanish classrooms, the FABRE Foundation created a book of 17 short stories called “A journey through the SDGs”.
This Spanish NGO brought us on board to work on the design and illustration of their book. Each story showcases a different SDG through the eyes and words of four little girls from four developing countries: Bolivia, Cuba, Guatemala and Ivory Coast.
We used illustration as a vehicle to bring stories to life, to give our readers an accurate representation of the context where these stories took place and the SDGs they talk about. Also, the stories were meant for children, so it was important to illustrate them as colorful and dynamic as possible.
