FUTURA/FUTURO which is both the feminine and masculine translation for "Future" is a streetwear clothing brand created by Michael Elliott. The wordmark was made with custom lettering to create something that was bespoke and exclusive. The logo is a visual portmanteau that is comprised of two letter "f" 's as well as a common stitch used in sewing known as a honeycomb stitch. The honeycomb stitch is used to create embellishments as well as to establish flexibility within fabrics. Much like the FUTURA/FUTURO brand is stitching cultural threads together it is also allowing for flexibility between genres and gender.
