This piece satirizes people's modern addiction on social media and the prevalent pandemic's effect to this issue. With the development of technology, people can now easily communicate on screen anywhere. This can be an advantage for us, but it can also be an opportunity for us to lose something important. It is a common occurrence that we are having meal with someone, but our eyes are not on the food or even not on the person, but on the phone. And the pandemic that is currently plaguing people's lives will bring more and more people into online life. The decreasing opportunities for human interaction and the accelerating addiction on social media is not what we should be. In times like these, we should value face-to-face conversation and communication, and help each other.

Perhaps people walk by without noticing this poster because they are looking at their phones. However, there will be people who notice the existence of this poster, see the words, "take social distance from social media",  and find an opportunity to reevaluate their current state. With this in mind, I created this work.
