Climate Emergency
The brief was to create a series of 4 narratives from video collages using looping GIFs or footage which interact with each other, in response to the climate change.
My outcome is inspired by the Vox’s video Why humans are so bad at thinking about climate change.
Its main idea is that the people do not take action against the environmental problem because it is complex and the negative and serious way in which it has been presented makes them try to ignore it.
Therefore, I decided to present 4 simple solutions to the climate crisis in more humoristic and playful way. I aimed to show that it could be easy and fun to live an eco- friendly life.
The GIF collages could also be printed on tickets for climate emergency seminars for example and when the QR code on the tickets is scanned, the GIFs would be played on AR on the phone.
