The little things we do everyday can have a huge impact on us and the people around us. That's why, we at CHA, make all-natural, loose-leaf tea blends that aren't just good for you, but for our planet as well.
We bring you the freshest, hand-picked tea from the estates in Assam, Darjeeling and the Nilgiri Hills. Straight from source, from crop to cup, we truly believe that every sip counts. We believe that tea is made to enjoy the flavours, experience the culture and understand the emotions and its historical background.
At CHA, we want to create a guilt-free tea drinking experience which includes having a reduced carbon footprint with our sourcing and packaging materials. We package hand picked loose leaves into backyard compostable packaging that is made from cellulose.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
Being in the market for decades worth of time, we now deliver the freshest tea to our consumers without the unnecessary middlemen. It not only accounts for faster delivery times but also fresher tea. We hand-pick leaves from the tea plantations and package them in small batches to ensure freshness. The tea is then directly exported to retailers and consumers for consumption.
PACKAGING DESIGN FOR LOOSE LEAF TEA
At CHA, we use Compostable Packaging to pack our loose leaf tea. Compostable food packaging is made, disposed of and breaks down in a manner that is kinder to the environment than plastic. It is made from plant-based, recycled materials and can return to earth quickly and safely as soil when disposed of in the right environmental conditions.
The added environmental advantage ‘compostable’ has over standard ‘biodegradable’ packaging products is the guarantee that the materials used do not produce toxins as they deteriorate.
