It's easy to encourage someone! During the 2020-21 pandemic, Ministry Ideaz has been expanding their product range to include special gift bundles to be used by Jehovah's Witnesses.
As loyal publishers, we understand the command we still have to accomplish in these troubled last days. We adapted to send Bible-based letters to our co-workers, in the case they’re in grief. Or even to our neighbors, if they let us know they coping with depression or another illness. On the other hand, we’re conscious our priority is our spiritual family (Gal. 6:10). And we know them much better thanks to the zoom calls we have twice a week for meetings and other opportunities during service, even personal calls we make regularly. What else can you do for them?
Prepare your “encouragement recipient list”:
First: Your dear elders or other publishers who willingly offered to serve in a Disaster Relief Committee. They're still on the front line in many countries where new peaks of Covid-19 have been registered. We understand the sacrifices they’re making, and they need encouragement for that.
Second: pioneers who have been creative all this time to fully accomplish their work. We receive more rejection from people in the territory, but we can remember them (and us) that having Jehovah’s approval is the best gain we have.
Third: Those who suffer a chronic illness. This winter is cold not only because of the weather but because of social distancing. We can confirm we love them with a little note to warm their hearts.
Finally: Single parents, someone who recently got divorced, someone who remains loyal after his or her relative opposed the truth in the last months or years… the list may look longer as you think in each circumstance that makes your friends feel blue. But don’t panic! Prioritize your closest friends. Most important, prepare your schedule to accomplish with this “internal ministry” one or two hours once a week at least until you finish.
