It began when we realized that our biggest resource was the number of awesome people we know. We know a lot of great people--people who are doing impossible things. People who have lived through daunting challenges. People with crazy stories that they hardly ever tell, because nobody knows to ask.
Since we're happier living on the road, we tightened up The General's bolts, threw our stuff in the back, and started following the trail of stories. We started with the people we know, who told us about people they know, and the places they lived, and the things they remember.
And we've just kept going from one connoisseur to the next.
If we'd thought before about stopping, it's completely slipped our minds by now.
