Kathryn Carlson wanted to create a bike trunk that combined the storage and security of a car with the freedom and flexibility of a bike basket. She wanted it to look as good as it worked.
Drawing inspiration from nautical materials, high-end luggage, and the forms of vintage motorcycles and cars, we crafted both the brand and the boot in collaboration with our industrial design partners, Tomorrow Lab. We called it the Buca Boot.
