AMÁLIA RODRIGUES

Amália Rodrigues (3rd of July - 6th of October 1999) was an amazing portuguese fado singer and actress from the 20th century. The briefing for this project suggested that we'd create a copy with headline, body and signature, celebrating the centenary of Amália, as well as "Fado in the world, and the world in Fado".
It took me some time to start writing about this, I searched for inspiration in her discography and found a song that ended to be kind of my "trigger", named Ai Vida.
Here is my Copy, followed by the creative justification, explaining the meaning and intentions behind my writing.
RACIONAL CRIATIVO
Amália, diva eterna, do nosso fado. O headline descreve-a, com uma palavra tão portuguesa, quanto ela. Quando cantava, encantava quem a ouvia, antiga e atualmente.
O body, refere saudade como algo que havia "mandado embora", aludindo a um fado seu Saudade Vai-te Embora. O "gesto de alma" e a declaração de que foi a primeira a ser a nossa imagem do fado, remetem para Ai Vida e Gaivota, enaltecendo a sua perfeição. Nos parágrafos seguintes, o título de algumas das suas canções, por exemplo Foi Deus, dá a entender que foi divina. Tudo Isto é Fado, realça características das almas, noites e guitarras, a passagem do Cais de Alcântara (onde vendeu fruta) à Mouraria, devota ao fado. O terceiro parágrafo elucida o leitor que Amália é inigualável e inatingível, mesmo que outros cantem os seus fados.
A assinatura enfatiza o silêncio que oferecemos ao escutá-la. Pelo respeito que aprendemos, já que nos ensinou a sentir, ouvir e a vivê-lo, tendo o fado duplo sentido: estilo musical e destino.
[Translation]:
Amália, eternal diva, of our fado. The headline describes her, with a word as Portuguese as her. When she sang, in the past, she'd charm who'd listen, like now.
The body, refers "saudade" as something that was sent away, mentioning one of her fado songs "Saudade Vai-te Embora". "Gesto de Alma" and the declaration that she was our first image of fado, bring to our mind songs like "Ai Vida" and "Gaivota", remarking her perfection. In the nexts paragraphs, the title of some of her songs, for example "Foi Deus", gives us the impression that she was divine. "Tudo Isto é Fado" highlights souls characteristics, nights and guitars, passing from the Alcântara pier (where she sold fruit) to Mouraria, devoted to fado. The third paragraph elucidates the reader that Amália is peerless, even if other singers perform her songs.
The signature emphasizes the silence we offer while listening to her. For the respect we've learnt, after she has taught us to feel, listen and living it, having fado a double meaning: musical style and fate.
