This first project we worked on was how to display information about ourselves in poster form. The information could be any kind of data, you just had to be able to show it in a visual way. I made a more structured layout that uses a serif font.
In this project we had to visualize a step by step guide in booklet form. Coming up with our own style on how we made the graphics, I went with a more geometric shape to all of my graphics. My cartoon face is used throughout the booklet to help give tips and tricks.
Once the booklet was unfolded completely you would be able to see this poster on the backside that reads "You are a Jumpstart Master!". An extra piece of art for the person who has just completed the given instructions.
For this project we had to take data that was linked to places geographically and figure out a way to display it as a map. I chose how the COVID-19 pandemic influenced video games. Using these two maps of hours spent playing and most popular video games while in quarantine I was able to draw some interesting conclusions from the data.
