Our work areas are primarily affected by the economic, technological and environmental problems experienced at the global level. At the employee level, the basic need is to create a personal space to prevent distraction and to strengthen individual motivation.
The introduction of the concept of working from home with the social distance measures that emerged after Covid-19 has revealed a fundamental problem such as the limitation of our movement areas. In this case, the need for products that are mobile, can be installed and removed in a practical way, do not take up much space, and have easily disinfectable surfaces has increased.
In line with these needs, NOMI has been designed with the aim of creating an independent and mobile workspace. In the sketching process, an answer was sought to the question of how can a portable workspace adapted to human ergonomics, based on the practical solutions provided by mobile furniture designs.
