This is the Kingsford Company which specializes in anything and everything grill season related, they have an assortment of products from grills themselves to the seasoning used to prep your steak or other barbecue favorites. Kingsford prides itself through its products that are 100% made with natural ingredients since the 1950's.

I used the factor of time and the fact of the company that has withheld through time to choose a more stronghold feel of font type, leading me to the font type Cochin, which was produced in 1912 in Paris. I also wanted to incorporate a crown into the logo, to emphasize the confidence that the brand has to meet your needs every time.

I used a yellow Pantone color in order to emphasize the crown atop the company brand to again emphasize how far the company has come, as well as ease with identification when placed on the shelf.

I wanted the favicon to have a more royal feel, therefore I accompanied the yellow crown with a shortened version of the company set upon a red/ velvet-like background to represent some hot coals. I would imagine the app would be used for sharing recipes, reviews and feedback for the company.
I chose to use three flavors that I have thought to be a go to amongst avid barbecue events such as, family gatherings, birthday parties, camping, contests, etc.

I used a neutral color for the background of the two flavors and a darker background for another in order to demonstrate the versatility of logo and placement of information. The flavor of each seasoning has been emphasized and accompanied by a small graphic to assist in the ease of quickly identifying the taste you're after.

I chose this font because of the extended terminals off of each letter that gave me a sense of growth or passage of time, as if vines had begun growing on a castle over time. The use of line on both the top and bottom of the label, allows me to 'crop' the label down to the information and enable the use of continuous line throughout the container.
For my mock up I included three similar bottles differed by their contained spice and decorated label. The darker of the three placed in the middled in order to add additional emphasize.
