In fall of 2020, I illustrated this picture book for Room to Read, a children's literacy and education organization, as part of their Peace and Equality Book Collection.
Working alongside an art director and within the constraints of Room to Read's e-book software, I completed 25 illustrations in one month.
Building Peace is a book about actions children can take to help create a more peaceful world. Each letter in the word "peace" stands for a different word and features a real young person who took that action.
"There are many ways to build peace. How will you build peace?"
